What Are Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters?
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s are:
- Integrated master’s programmes at the Master’s level.
- Created and implemented collectively by a minimum of three international higher education institutions (HEIs).
- Fully recognised across the partner universities.
- Available with EU-funded scholarships for top students worldwide.
Scholarship Structure and Academic Details
Partnership Requirement:
- At least 3 universities from at least 3 different countries; of these, at least 2 must be EU Member States or associated countries.
Programme Duration:
- Each edition lasts 1–2 academic years (equivalent to 60, 90, or 120 ECTS credits).
Mobility Requirement:
- Students must study in at least 2 different countries (one must be an EU Member State or associated country).
Project Grant:
- Selected EMJM consortia can receive up to €5 million to run the programme over 6 academic years, covering at least 4 editions.
