The Joint Professional Training and Support International Scholarship 2024, or JPTS Scholarship, is an educational initiative that aids Nigerians in obtaining professional qualifications in a variety of professions. JPTS wants to offer top-notch instruction outside of the realm of conventional academic credentials. It is licensed in both Nigeria and the USA.

What is JPTS Scholarship?

JPTS is an established organization that concentrates on educating and supporting students who desire to obtain cutting-edge certifications and improve their professional skills.

JPTS collaborate with universities to assess students seeking degree certifications. The whole procedure of evaluation is conducted online, through a collaboration between JPTS and the UK-based ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Colleges). The JPTS is acknowledged and sanctioned by the UK government and is intended to accredit foreign universities.

Two authorized agencies in the UK review and then approve private international universities: ASIC and BAC. To ensure the legitimacy and quality of offered certifications, the JPTS uses ASIC’s services.

JPTS Scholarship Benefits and Fees 2024

The simplified of the benefits and fees related to the JPTS Scholarship for the academic year of 2024, is given below;

Application Fee:

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 5,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 10,000 naira
  • There is no fee covered by a scholarship.

Acceptance Fee:

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 5,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 10,000 naira
  • There is no fee covered by a scholarship.

Tuition Fee:

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 150,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 200,000 naira
  • There is a fee covered by a scholarship.

Examination Fee (Per Course):

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 2,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 2,500 naira
  • There is no fee covered by a scholarship.

Administrative Fee:

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 10,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 15,000 naira
  • There are fees covered by a scholarship.

Professional Certification Fee (Per Certificate):

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 10,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 10,000 naira
  • There are fees covered by a scholarship.

Project Fee:

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 20,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 20,000 naira
  • There is no fee covered by a scholarship.

Convocation Fee:

  • Bachelor’s Programme: 30,000 naira
  • Master’s Programme: 30,000 naira
  • There are fees covered by a scholarship.

The tuition and administrative fees for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are covered by the JPTS scholarship. However, some other fees are not covered by the scholarship such as examination fee, professional certification fee, project fee, convocation fee, application fee, and acceptance fee, they are separately paid.

Eligibility Requirements for JPTS Scholarships

  • Annually a test is conducted by the institution for those candidates who want to apply for a JPTS scholarship. You must prepare yourself very well for this test. Because it is necessary to pass this test to apply for a scholarship.
  • Candidates who pass or clear this test can apply for the scholarship.
  • Required Language: Candidates can speak and write English fluently.
  • Admission Requirements: All applicants must have a degree from a recognized university from the previous year.
  • Supporting Documents: In addition to receiving the scholarship, students will also receive an International and Global Student ID Card with discounts and financial services.

The JPTS scholarship in Nigeria for the academic year 2024 is open to all international students.

How to Apply for the JPTS Scholarship?

Offline Candidates:
  • If you want to apply online then you can take the entrance exam at the JPTS Secretariat, which is located at 29 Koya Akinwale Street, Off Aina Obembe Road, Ipaja, Lagos.
Online Candidates:
  • If you want to apply online, then you fill out the relevant form with all the required details at the provided link. After submitting your form, you will get an email containing a link.
  • To access the examination page click on the link provided in the email. You’ll take the test here. 
  • If your test will clear then you will receive a “Provisional Scholarship Admission Letter”, must print it out.

To be considered for the JPTS scholarship in 2024, you must have;

  • The institution conducts a test to choose the best students, you must pass this test.
  • You are eligible to apply for the scholarship if you did well in your test.
  • For international students, this scholarship will be available for the academic year of 2024.
  • A special student ID and financial benefits are provided to successful scholarship recipients.
  • You must be proficient in the English language.
  • Your previous degree must be from a recognized college or University.
  • You must have to take a test to apply, either on-site at the JPTS Secretariat or online.
  • Online candidates get an email with a test link, and if they pass, they can print a “Provisional Scholarship Admission Letter.”
