Financial Coverage of EPFL Excellence Fellowships 2024
These fellowships provide the following financial services to candidates:
- worth CHF 10,000 per semester is offered to candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree.
- At the end of the master’s program, a certificate of excellence is awarded.
- All of the expenses (including rent) will be covered by Fellowship holders.
Eligibility Criteria for EPFL Excellence Fellowships
Interested candidates must fulfill the eligibility Criteria for EPFL Excellence Fellowships, which are given below:
- English is the required language.
- All World Countries are eligible for this fellowship.
- Interested candidates should hold outstanding academic records and references.
- Any candidate with a bachelor’s degree from a university (or equivalent) in any field related to the EPFL curriculum can apply to the EPFL master’s programs.
- Candidates who already have a master’s degree or equivalent in the program field (or similar field) for which they are applying are not eligible.

Required Documents For EPFL Excellence Fellowships
Interested candidates must attach all the required documents along with the Application form, which includes:
- CV/ resume
- identity card or passport.
- For foreigners residing in Switzerland: your residence permit.
- You should have a cover letter that should not exceed 1000 words. We ask you to explain your educational background and your career plan.
- All of your certified university graduate information.
- Your Academic Diploma (s) or Bachelor (Certified) If you are not yet in possession of your diploma, you must submit it to the Academic Service upon your arrival.*
- Contact details from three academic references, each of which must provide a letter of recommendation about you (except for candidates who already registered in another Swiss Federal Institute of Technology or University, who apply for a master’s degree in the same field as their bachelor’s).
- Three references; The Letters of recommendation should come from the teachers, who are familiar with your work and your abilities. These recommendations are confidential and will not be accepted unless they are developed through an electronic application.
