Financial Coverage Of GIST South Korea Scholarship 

Gwangju University Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for International Students to pursue their study in South Korea.

  • Full tuition fee waiver: 3,607,000 won per semester
  • Monthly Stipends:
    • For Master’s Degree: 140,000 won per month
    • For Ph.D. Degree: 295,000 won per month
  • Research Assistantship (Available for all students who participate in research projects):
    • 6,400,000 won per year of MS
    • 13,740,000 won per year of PhD
  • Health Insurance (All International Students)
    • Provides 60% of the Korean National Health Insurance fee.
